STOP TOBACCO DEPENDENCY

By E. Avery Reed

Since environmental science and saving the planet are among the important topics of conversations this millennia, I decided to draft a short novel that describes the Stairstep Method that I used over 40 years ago to stop smoking cigarettes forever. If you smoke cigarettes, or use any tobacco manufacturer’s product containing nicotine, you know how difficult it is to quit your addiction to tobacco. Statistics are recorded by government agencies telling us the health hazards of nicotine to the human body based on decades of recorded laboratory evidence. Yet, the tobacco companies continue to addict individuals not only in the United States, but around the world. Governments have added high taxes on tobacco, with some reduction in the number of smokers. However, the population percentage of smokers remains unchanged when you add the number of young individuals starting tobacco each year. The apparent solution created by the tobacco companies is to continue your addiction, and that of your children, on e-cigarettes and smokeless tobacco pouches—that strategy and its importance is discussed in the book.
